Vengai: Why I became a human rights activist

I became a human rights activist because I want to defend the rights of many Zimbabweans who are suffering from injustice and from oppressive and degrading system. When I see injustice and discrimination I stand in solidarity with the victims.

I stand up with the victims of oppression, so that they know that they are not alone. I will never stop until there is respect of human rights in Zimbabwe. I will continue to fight for the voiceless sons and daughters of Zimbabwe who are suffering in silence.

I stand up to give voice to the voiceless.
